I am sorry that I have not done any blog post in a while, but it is good to be back
I have always been a fan of Starbucks beverages.I have not been a die hard fan where I would have a two beverages a day, only  three a week.I always love the caramel frappaccino, THAT IS MY DRINK! I just love the taste of the caramel and the whip cream mixed with the coffee. When I have a stressful day I would get the calm herbal tea to relax me and when it is a hot day I would get the passion tea sweetened. But one drink I never got was the drink with the bugs,yes the drink with the bugs. You see I found out this week that the Starbucks uses cochineal extract in some of their beverages and food products such as Strawberries; Creme Frappuccinos and Strawberry Banana Smoothies, as well as red velvet whoopee pie, raspberry swirl cake, pink-iced mini donuts. The extract is made up of crushed bugs. I have seen episodes of man vs. wild and "Fear Factor" I always wondered what it would be like to eat bugs, but I would not actually do it. I wonder if soldiers who are stranded in the wild have made strawberry drink by getting strawberries from the forest and crush some bugs to survive.. Did Starbucks get this idea to use the bug contained cochineal extract from the producers of "Man vs. Wild" and "Fear Factor." It is a good thing that Starbucks decided to remove the cochineal from its drinks so they would not have to gross out the die hard drinkers and eaters of the red velvet whoopee pie and I WONDER WHAT THIS PIE IS MADE OF. And the swirl cake and pink iced mini donuts. It was a good thing Change.org petitioned the extract. I do not find it tempting or satisfying to have

Hurricane Irene

Coming from New York City. I was so scared about the damage Hurricane Irene was going to do to the city. I was so scared of how Hurricane Irene may hurt my friends and family members.Thank the lord that none of my family members nor friends were hurt, but it was a scary moment because this was the second major catastrophe that affected New York City in 2011 the city experience  a major Earthquake.The first 5.6 Earthquake that The East Coast had felt since the late 1880's. THAT IS SOMETHING!

Does all of this means once again that the world is coming the an end? For New York City to get a 5.6 earthquake and then a hurricane was just incredible.What is going on? I wonder if the hurricane and the earthquake on the east coast has something to do with the continuing damage that we as people are doing to the Earth. I think that this should be an example for me and other citizens of the world  to try and be a lot more careful about the items we use and how we dispose of them. We must learn to be a more eco-friendly world.Think about recycling and other ways to protect the earth.

Does It Pay To Attend College In The United States.

Recently I had a friend tell me that more people from foreign countries .Students from foreign countries who want to attend American Universities.Because American students can't afford the ever growing American University prices.it is really evident because this summer at my school and I am not going to say the name

for my own privacy and safety I will not say my school name to avoid the stalkers but the university apartments where I live, there are many Asian students, and there is nothing wrong with that.

These students are from China and Korea, plus there are a small number of students from Germany and Italy

and when I saw this I was really stunned and all of these foreign students were able to get housing here at my complex.One thing I know for sure is that the complex is not empty as it was last June.Because many
American students could not afford summer courses,which are very expensive at this school

American students do not want to attend college because some do not have the money and they feel that it is unfair to pay high tuition costs.Then there are those who feel that they will have difficulty paying back students loans and if  they can't pay back  student loans they will be in serious, serious trouble.They will be in trouble because they can't get a job to pay the loans back.

In all many Americans feel that COLLEGE IS SCAM LIKE THIS VIDEO!

I feel that COLLEGE IS WORTH IT! But for some the big question is, how do we pay for college?In The United States today. If you do not have a college education you can't get a good paying job these days A Masters degree is now something which is needed to get a decent salary.So I know American college student's are frustrated and scared.They are scared of not having a way to pay back student loans, LIKE ME I AM IN THAT BOAT! But to me it is  a risk worth taking and you need a Bachelors Degree to get a decent paying job.So what type of job you are going to get without one

Ron Artest And Sports Strangest Name Change

I do not like to say this about people, but what is with this guy? Let me jump right into it .Ron Artest of The Los Angeles Lakers wants to legally changing his name

Ron Artest wants to be known as

Metta World Peace

WHY RON?

I always found Ron Artest to be an interesting man. I still believe that he has tried to be the modern day Dennis Rodman and he does not even come close to being like Dennis Rodman. Ron Artest wants to be famous and outragous as Dennis was ,I mean he is almost doing the same things as Rodman such as

FIGHTING 

TATOOS

FIGHTING

GETTING ALOT OF REBOUNDS

FIGHTING

Ron Artest is a great defensive player and he has been honored for his contributions to the community. Artest plays tough and sometimes real ugly. Rodman played the same, but a little better.

.

But now Artest's toughest play of his career is changing his name. Ron Artest is legally changing his name and  he would not be the first  NBA player to change his name ,but Ron Artest's reasons and pick of  the name makes no sense. Metta is supposed to be a Buddhism term relating to peace. But what I am trying to understand is why is he doing this?

Does he want peace?
Is he looking for personal peace?
Is it for publicity?

Is if for inner spiritual peace?

What are his reasons?

In my opinion it is all about publicity It is another situation like the former Chad Johnson ,NFL player Chad Johnson legally changed his name to Chad Ochocinco. Ochocinco is Spanish for 8 and 5 and he wears the number 85 .Kareem Abdul Jabar used to be known as Lou Alcindor. He changed his name for a Muslim and civic rights reason.

The last NBA player to have a name with the world World in it was former NBA great World B. Free.The former Lloyd  B.Free got his name from a teammate who gave him the name because has two great abilities which were a 44 inch vertical leap and  he did  great 360 degree slam dunks. His 360 degree slam dunks made him rotate like the world. So, I can understand this name change and this name change sounded great plus it made sense.

Sports reporters are wondering what will Ron Artest put on the back of his jersey

Will it be just PEACE?

Will it be just WORLD?

Or will it be WORLD PEACE?

Maybe it will be CRAZY MAN!.

To me there is nothing wrong with a man or a woman changing their name.If you change your name there must be significant reasons to the name change. You must have an intelligent and strong meaning behind the name change. But for Ron Artest a man who has been the most unpredictable NBA  player I have ever seen

I just do not understand the reason for the name change and I just think it is a dumb idea.

McCain And The Immigrants

You know I give John McCain all of the respect in the world .I give him all respect for trying to crack down on illegal immigration. I give credit for him cracking down on illegals crossing the border in his state of Arizona

But would John McCain  blame illegal immigrants for the cause of The Arizona fires and he did.

John McCain was given data stating the causes of the fire were due to illegal immigrants starting fires to keep warm and for theme to signal other illegal immigrants. All of this so called information came from McCain's communications director. A forest official on CNN stated that the fires were probably caused by an "escaped campfire."And this forest official  felt that there was no need to blame illegal immigrants.

So the big question is why would John McCain make such statements? The funniest part of it all is that he does not understand how offensive his statements are. He does not understand what all of the commotion is all about. Well Senator McCain your comments sound pretty racist. It is bad enough that Arizona has the new immigration rule, the rule where those who look like an illegal immigrant has to be checked by police.Now you are going to blame illegal immigrants for the cause of this horrible wild fire One of Arizona's worst wild fires ever.

What is next when it comes to cracking down illegal immigration in Arizona? What will illegal immigrants be blamed for next. If the Arizona Diamond Backs lose the 2011 World Series,will it be the fault of illegal immigrants? Will the Arizona Diamond Backs lose The World Series because most of the illegal immigrants for the Phoenix Suns for the bad seasons they have had.Will McCain blame illegal immigrants for issues with the Republic party? Will he hate them for liking President Obama too much?  Is old age really getting to John McCain?

In my view and I do not where and how did John McCain's communications director get such ridiculous information. But to me it is just another attack and excuse ,excuse to crack down on illegal immigrants and to come down on those who may appear to be a so called illegal immigrants in Arizona.

So to me I felt this immigration wild fire issue was a completely racist thing John McCain did
I understand that immigrants coming to The United States illegally is JUST WRONG, but if we are going to handle illegal immigration we should do it in a stern manner, but not a manner where it is
RACIST
PHYSICALLY HARMFUL
MENTALLY HARMFUL.

Illegal immigrants who cross the borders of  The United Stares should be treated fairly according to the law of The United States and these laws should not be abused.

They should be treated by laws which  do not discriminate against them
Laws which gives them a fair chance.
A fair chance of illegal immigrants pleading their case.

One thing I can say about this outfit is that it made sense where Lady Gaga outfits usually do not

The 26 year old is a tennis player, so what does she do, she has a dress made out of tennis balls.

Let me tell you this dress was something.I really loved the neon green and yellow of the dress
But the cool thing about  the dress was it had a corsett with nothing but tennis balls. And a headset with feathers and a tennis balls on top.This dress was something and it made sense, a tennis player with a tennis dress.

Unlike Lady Gaga who is a pop singer who wore a Kermit The Frog dress and Lady Gaga is not puppet nor a frog. Also she wore a dress that looked liked actual pieces of meat.

IS SHE SAYING SHE IS A PIECE OF MEET...UUUMMMM.
How do these dresses define what it means to be a pop star?I do not know.

I am a big Venus and Serena Williams fan, So I am hoping they one of them will win Wimbledon
I am being honest! So let just see if all of this hype and energy that was put into that tennis dress
Will be transferred into Bethany Mattek-Sands' game at Wimbledon .
