The Death of Michael Clarke Duncan

Hello To The Real World
And To The Not So Real World

The Death of Michael Clark Duncan

On September 3, 2012 Hollywood and the rest of The United States were informed of the death of popular actor Michael Clark Duncan. Duncan was an African-American actor who died of a heart attack at the age of 54. Duncan died from a heart attack he had in July of 2012 which he never recovered from. He was a big muscular man who I never thought would die from something like a heart attack.

He acted in  films such as Armageddon, The Scorpion King, Dare Devil, Talladega Knights and the highly acclaimed The Green Mile with Tom Hanks.  Duncan was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe award for playing John Coffey. A Lousiana inmate with super natural powers who was charged with the killing of two white girls during the depression. Duncan was truly a power house actor who was great at comedy and drama.

Duncan won high acclaim for The Green Mile, but my favorite Duncan movie was The Scorpion King. I really loved the scene where he fought Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. I really loved when those two big men went at it. From this film, I was really hoping that Duncan would try professional wrestling for a short while.

In the end, you will be missed Michael.
Hollywood no longer has its true gentle gentle.

 Take Care and God Bless.
